Stargate Thor’s Gun and Asgard Lab Concept Art

Stargate Thor’s Gun and Asgard Lab Concept Art

Set of two art department made black and white sketches. Hand-drawn pencil on vellum. Measures 11in × 17in.

Provenance

Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.

Two original concept art sketches depicting what would ultimately become Loki’s laboratory chamber and an unused Asgard weapon. Thor never appeared with a pistol in “Thor’s Hammer,” but this concept was developed nonetheless.
