Stargate Atlantis Ronon Dex Ceremonial Knife

Stargate Atlantis Ronon Dex Ceremonial Knife

Black metal knife with wooden hilt wrapped with leather straps and decorated with red beads. Measures 14.5in × 4in × 1in. Includes a production made cardboard sheath with production mark "Epi 407, Knife for Ronon to pack, other Knifes are in his bin in truck, Sc 22/78″.

Provenance

Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.

Knife used by actor Jason Momoa as “Ronon Dex” in the production of Stargate Atlantis. Ronon carried multiple knives on his person, as was illustrated by the humorous scene in the Season Two episode “The Hive” when he uses all of them to break the team out of jail.
