Stargate SG-1 Ori Sword in Scabbard - Stunt
Production made brown and black rubber sword in scabbard, tip of scabbard is missing. Scabbard itself includes numerous scratches and dings by production. Measures 38in × 6in × 1.5in.
Provenance
Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.
Stunt sword and scabbard used by an Ori warrior in the final two seasons of Stargate SG-1, including the DVD movie “The Ark of Truth”. This warrior caste served as ground troops for their noncorporeal gods, the Ori, traveling to distant planets and forcing alien cultures into servitude and worship. Their message was always the same: follow the path of Origin or be laid down in the dust.
