Stargate Atlantis Rodney McKay Toiletry Bag

Stargate Atlantis Rodney McKay Toiletry Bag

Black leather toiletry bag with zipper closure, side zipper pocket, and interior zipper pocket, measures approx. 10.25in × 5.25in × 4.25in

Provenance

Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.

Toiletry bag found among Rodney McKay’s personal effects, used as background set dressing during the production of Stargate Atlantis. Rodney McKay began working for the Stargate program remotely from Area 51, called in to put out fires at Stargate Command as needed. He was an obvious choice to lead the science team of the Atlantis expedition, and his knowledge of Ancient technology also played a key role in Sheppard’s unit.
