Stargate Ronon Tracking Device
Production-made resin implant device painted dark blue. Three prongs are painted light blue, as is centerpiece of device. Centerpiece has a green crystal embedded in it. Back of piece has seven white spikes on it and red silicone string to simulate sinew. The tip of one of the prongs is missing as is one of the white spikes (there should be eight). Measures 0.875in × 1.75in × 1.75in.
Provenance
Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.
Runner tracking device removed from Ronon Dex’s back in his introductory Stargate Atlantis episode, “Runner.” This tracking device was key to the character’s story. Carson Beckett’s removal of the unit denoted Ronon’s transition from a Wraith Runner to a free man. He temporarily re-acquired a tracking device of the same type in Season Three’s “Sateda.”
