Stargate Atlantis McKay C4 and Field Dressing
Set of two props consisting of: production made brown paper wrapped block with C4 information stamped in black on top and bottom, measures approx. 4.25in × 1.5in × 0.75in. Olive drab plastic bag with military field dressing inside, stamped in black with dressing information and instructions on top and bottom, measures approx. 8in × 3in × 0.75in.
Provenance
Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.
A combined lot of C4 and a field dressing, both taken from the tactical vest worn by David Hewlett as “Rodney McKay” throughout Stargate Atlantis. Rodney McKay began working for the Stargate program remotely from Area 51, called in to put out fires at Stargate Command as needed. He was an obvious choice to lead the science team of the Atlantis expedition, and his knowledge of Ancient technology also played a key role in Sheppard’s unit.
