Stargate Atlantis Night Vision Goggles
Production-modified black goggles with hard rubber flip-up attachment and soft foam on the inside. The right flip-up eye piece has a clear lens in the eye hole. The elastic band has “PEPPER’S” stitched into the back and the clasp is taped closed. Measures 6.5in × 2.25in × 4in. The band stretches to accommodate most head sizes and is adjustable.
Provenance
Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.
Goggles worn by Atlantis expedition team members in the Stargate Atlantis pilot episode, Rising. Colonel Marshall Sumner and his unit used NVGs on Athos when they arrived at night, and came upon two Athosian boys playing far from the village.
