Black plastic device with glass viewing screen, battery level indicator, black webbing hand strap on both sides, removable batter, and gray rubber on/off switch, functionality is not verified, measures approx. 7.5in × 5in × 5.5in.

Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.
Prop infrared detector used by actor David Nykl as “Radek Zelenka” during the production of Stargate Atlantis. Zelenka served under McKay’s science team, much to the Czech’s chagrin, through the entire course of the series.
