Stargate SG-1 Jack O’Neill Name Tape and Badge

Stargate SG-1 Jack O’Neill Name Tape and Badge

Set of three nametapes with embroidered “O’NEILL” character name, tapes are tan, green, and blue, each are 1in wide, their lengths are 8in, 9.25in, and 10in. Black leather nameplate with Air Force badges and O’Neill character information, backed in hook Velcro, measures 4in × 2.25in.

Provenance

Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.

Name tape and name plate created for actor Richard Dean Anderson as Jack O’Neill, but believed to be unused. O’Neill served as the team leader of the first mission to Abydos, then later became commander of Sierra Golf One for eight years. He was then promoted to leader of Stargate Command, a position he filled for a year before transferring to Homeworld Security at the Pentagon.
