Set of six military ribbon bars comprised of multicolored ribbons, backing is plastic, has three shirt pins on back, production marked "CARTER NEW 10/06/98″ on back. Measures approx. 4.25in × 0.75in × 0.5in.

Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.

Ribbon bars worn by actress Amanda Tapping as “Samantha Carter” with her formal dress blues in the earlier days of Stargate SG-1. A valuable member of the SG-1 team, Sam worked on the Stargate project two years before Dr. Daniel Jackson managed to open the wormhole to Abydos. She worked her way through the ranks from captain to a full bird colonel, and eventually commander of her own Deep Space Carrier, the George Hammond.
