Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis C4 Blocks - Stunt

Two, production made, rectangular blocks of Styrofoam, covered with tan construction paper. Each block is stamped with C4 information in black ink. One side reads, “C4 6841.0600.2487 220 1723 YH SP MII. SPEC 32.505″. The other side reads, ”Block Demolition, M4 (composition c4) Lot #83289 - 9721 - 3 MFG Date 7/28/99." Each measures 4″ × 1½″.

Provenance

Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.

Two Faux blocks of C4 explosives, used in numerous episodes of Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. When a Stargate team needed a big hole, plastic explosives were generally the solution. The Atlantis expedition planned to trade C4 for Genii crops in Season One’s “Underground”.
