Stargate Atlantis Rodney McKay Rare SGC Jacket

Production made, black, zip-front jacket with two pockets on front and ribbed wool detailing at collar and wrist cuffs. Upper left chest and right sleeve have black, Velcro shapes affixed, to be used for alternate patch attachment. The sleeves contain Velcro-affixed patches. The right sleeve features an “SGC” patch, and the left contains an Earth patch. No size available.

Rare SGC jacket worn by actor David Hewlett as Rodney McKay in an unspecified episode of Stargate Atlantis. McKay normally wore the uniform and colors of the Atlantis science team. As brilliant as he is disagreeable, Rodney McKay began working for the Stargate program remotely from Area 51, called in to put out fires at Stargate Command as needed. He was an obvious choice to lead the science team of the Atlantis expedition, and his knowledge of Ancient technology also played a key role in Sheppard’s unit.
