Stargate Atlantis Sheppard Bloody Wrist Band
Black, terrycloth and elastic, athletic wristband. Features production-added dirt and blood. Measures 2¾″ × 3″.
Provenance
Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.
Dirty and bloodied wrist band worn by actor Joe Flanigan as “John Sheppard” in the Stargate Atlantis Season Five episode “Search and Rescue”, when he and Ronon are trapped under a pile of rubble. Sheppard’s wrist bands were one of the lasting mysteries of the series, as actor Joe Flanigan deliberately dodged questions as to why Sheppard enjoyed wearing them so frequently.
