Stargate Atlantis Ancient Light Dimmer
Production-made plastic light dimmer painted silver with blue highlights to simulate metal. Has copper and gold detailing. Has clear plastic panel backed by blue paper backing for backlighting. Unit has no lights. Measures 1in × 3.5in × 5in.
Provenance
Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.
Ancient light dimmer created for Stargate Atlantis. Rather than switches, many Atlantis rooms were equipped with these devices. A simple wave of the hand would raise or lower the lights.
