Production made Atlantis-style jacket and pants. Gray Atlantis uniform jacket with blue panels, zip-in gray inserts not included, Atlantis patch on right sleeve, Canadian flag patch on left sleeve (both patches are attached with Velcro); Atlantis-style gray trousers with integral belt, opening leg cuffs with zipper and snap. Size information for jacket and pants is not available.; Banana Republic gray t-shirt. Size L/G. Costume pieces are covered in a substance that simulates Wraith cocoon slime.

Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.

Uniform worn by actor David Hewlett as “Rodney McKay” after he is removed from a Wraith cocoon in the Stargate Atlantis Season Three episode “No Man’s Land”. This costume is heavily distressed in Wraith slime from the cocoon. As brilliant as he is disagreeable, Rodney McKay began working for the Stargate program remotely from Area 51, called in to put out fires at Stargate Command as needed. He was an obvious choice to lead the science team of the Atlantis expedition, and his knowledge of Ancient technology also played a key role in Sheppard’s unit.
