Stargate SG-1 Lucian Alliance Vashin Gauntlets
Two production made leather and cotton gauntlets with elastic lacing. The left gauntlet has production marks “VASHIN”, “L” and the right gauntlet has production marks “VASHIN”, “R”. Both gauntlets measure 12in × 4.75in × 3.5in.
Provenance
Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.
Costume worn by actor Timothy Paul Perez as “Vashin” in the Stargate SG-1 episodes “Company of Thieves” and “Bounty”. With the loss of the Goa’uld to the Replicators hundreds of planets, once enslaved, were free to govern their own territories. The corrupt Lucian Alliance stepped forward to fill much of this power vacuum.
