Stargate SG-1 Daniel Artifact - Instrument
Production made musical instrument. Features eight wire strings stretched over light wooden frame painted brown. Strings fasten onto wooden frame at one end and come together at the base of the instrument. The drum-like base is comprised of a hide, which is stretched and nailed tightly across a half-circle bottom and painted dark brown.

Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.
A musical instrument from Daniel Jackson’s office, used as set decoration for Stargate SG-1. Daniel collected numerous artifacts from Earth as well as other worlds during his travels. This item may represent an artifact from a lost civilization.
