Stargate Atlantis Wraith Blood Samples
Production-made acrylic pieces of plastic cut to shape and weathered. Both samples have a red splotch of color painted on to simulate a blood sample and has a rubber strip wrapped around each end. Both measure 5in × 1.75in × 0.25in.
Provenance
Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.
Two Wraith blood sample slides containing faux human blood, used in the Stargate Atlantis episode “Outsiders”. The Wraith in this episode was intent on eradicating any humans who possessed the Hoffan drug, a chemical which would kill any Wraith who attempted to feed on the person who possessed it.
