Stargate Christopher Roop Dog Tag
Production-made metal military dog tag with rubber silencer and “ROOP, CHRISTOPHER P”, “254 61 6346”, “A POS”, “SEVEN” engraved into it. Comes with a beaded chain. Measures 2in × 1.125in.
Provenance
Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.
Screen used dog tags by a background actor portraying the character of “Christopher Roop” in an episode of Stargate. The production team at Stargate went to great lengths to make the Air Force elements of both television series extremely accurate, including providing background players with their own dog tags.
