Stargate Atlantis Destroyed Evil Asgard Helmet
Production-made rubber and vacuum-formed ABS plastic helmet fragment. Painted to simulate scorched metal. Measures 12in × 8.5in × 4in.
Provenance
Taken by Propworx staff directly from The Bridge Studios, where MGM’s Stargate series were produced.
Segment of a helmet worn by a member of the Pegasus Asgard group in the Stargate Atlantis Season Five episodes “First Contact” and “The Lost Tribe”. This piece is a damaged portion of the encounter suit which blew up when Atlantis personnel attempted to analyze it. Up until these episodes it was believed that the entire Asgard race had become extinct, but a splinter group found in the Pegasus Galaxy proved that this was false.
