Phaser weapon in the style of "The Motion Picture" used during the production of the Star Trek: The Next Generation series, specifically "Yesterday's Enterprise" for use by the crew of U.S.S. Enterprise-C. This is not an original prop from the first movie but rather a recreation made by Ed Mierecki sometime afterwards for convention sales. When the production of TNG needed this style of phaser, they used what was available, repainted it and added the black handle. From the collection of Doug Drexler.
