Communicator Badge and Mold

Production-made badge cast in brownish transparent resin with Velcro loop material on back. Has evidence of having been painted. Silicone mold is made of blue material and shows evidence of heavy use. Owner stated that this Communicator was screen-used and used as the Master to create the new mold. The mold was then used to make new badges for production. Communicator measures 1.75" x 2.25". Mold measures 2.75" across and 0.5" deep.

This communicator badge appeared in numerous episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation. When a need for more arose it was then stripped of paint and used as a Master to make a new mold. This mold was then used to create additional production pieces. Resin communicator measures 1.75" x 2.25". RTV mold measures 2.75" across and 0.5" deep. From the collection of Doug Drexler.
