BSG Props Kacey’s Doll

During the Cylon occupation of New Caprica, Leoben Conoy brings a young blonde haired Kacey Brynn down into the apartment in the New Caprica Detention Center where he is holding Kara “Starbuck” Thrace. He claims Brynn is their child. According to Leoben, one of Thrace’s eggs, removed from her previous incarceration, was fertilized with his genetic material and implanted in a human surrogate mother. Over time, Kara reluctantly accepts Kacey as her daughter and the two escape. Shortly after, the truth is revealed that Kacey is not Kara’s daughter after all. Production noted that this is the backup doll belonging to Kacey Brynn from Season Three’s episode “Torn.”
