BSG Props Kelly’s Dress Gray Uniform
Male Dress Gray jacket with BSG patch on the left shoulder. The jacket has several squares of Velcro around the waist area used to affix the waist sash. Paired with gray pants with maroon stripes on side. Jacket has no sizing information available. The pants are size 40. Production has written “Kelly” on the inner label of both items. Includes maroon leather sash and waist belt piece, production made Battlestar Galactica dress pin, Captain rank pins, Standard Pilot Wings, and sash pins.

Screen-used costume worn by actor Ty Olsson as “Captain Kelly”. Dress gray uniforms were worn by colonial officers for formal occasions. While similar to the duty blue uniform, dress grays have a more formal look and include a sash with medals and pins to signify the wearer’s accomplishments.
