Provenance
Taken directly from the set of the NBC/Universal production, Battlestar Galactica, by Propworx staff.
This is one of the hero flagpoles used throughout the series. Flagpoles such as these were seen in the wardroom on Galactica and in the office of the president aboard Colonial One. Production did not specify in which scene this flagpole was used. Also included is a production made Colonial funeral flag. These flags honored the dead crew members of Galactica and were used to cover the fallen out of respect for their sacrifice. Flags were folded and given to next of kin if available, or in most cases, saved for the next ceremony.
