BSG Props Gaius Baltar Ballot and Flyer
Production-made presidential election ballot, with a vote for Gaius Baltar. Ballot has been folded to protect the voter’s anonymity. Ballot measures 4″ × 7¾″. Baltar’s flyer is a white leaflet printed in purple and measures 5⅜″ × 8½″ and features cut corners.
Provenance
Taken directly from the set of the NBC/Universal production, Battlestar Galactica, by Propworx staff.
Set includes a ballot from the election that ultimately led to Gaius Baltar becoming president of the Colonies and a two-sided flyer for the spirituality group led by Gaius Baltar. Production noted the ballot was from the Season Two finale “Lay Down Your Burdens.” Baltar’s leaflet was distributed to disenfranchised people after they learned Earth was nothing more than a radioactive wasteland. It first appeared in Season Four’s “A Disquiet Follows My Soul.”
