BSG Props Racetrack’s Computer Sensor
Production-made scanning device comprised of plastic tubes, metal wiring, LED’s and wiring. Sensor lights up with two 9 volt batteries.
Provenance
Taken directly from the set of the NBC/Universal production, Battlestar Galactica, by Propworx staff.
Accompanying the Marine boarding party on the derelict Basestar, Lt. Margaret “Racetrack” Edmondson, scanned the Cylon control center computers for information. Not knowing what infected the Cylons and caused their disease, Racetrack used this scanner to scan for data. This is the hero computer sensor used by Leah Cairns in Season Three’s episode “A Measure of Salvation.”
