BSG Props Rubber FN-57

This is a soft foam, production-made, non-functioning blaster used for pocket stuffers and for times when a non-functioning weapon was needed. This gun was also used for stunts, such as when Tyrol hits Baltar with the butt end of his weapon in Season Three’s episode “The Eye of Jupiter.” Painted to look lightly weathered with black paint on the gun itself, with exception of the handle which is painted to appear wood-like. Measures 8¾″ × 1½″ × 5½″. Gun is missing the rocket launcher.

Provenance

Taken directly from the set of the NBC/Universal production, Battlestar Galactica, by Propworx staff.

Version of the Colonial military sidearm introduced in Season Two and used throughout the series. Pistol is missing the explosive round launcher, and is lightly weathered. Pistol is most often carried by pilots in their tactical belt.
