BSG Props Hangar Bay Sign
Production made light gray PTFE plastic with red vinyl decals applied and heavily weathered. Sign reads HB-1 07/ HB-1 06. Measures: 14½″ × 21″.
Provenance
Taken directly from the set of the NBC/Universal production, Battlestar Galactica, by Propworx staff.
The hangar deck is where a battlestar’s fighters and support ships, such as Vipers and Raptors, are stored and maintained between missions. It is located under the landing bay of each flight pod. Signs like this were seen in Galactica’s hangar bay. Sign was labeled by production as having come from hangar bay 1.
