BSG Props Large GEPE Panel
A large, square, plastic faux button panel from the Galactica set. This is a weathered and dirtied GEPE screen with hard plastic pieces glued to the top by production to resemble “buttons”. Coated with wax to give the appearance of age and distress. Screen features two wires at the back used at one time for power connection, however for the prop to function, a new connection would need to be installed. Does not function at this time. Measures 14.5 in x 10.75 in x 1 in.
Provenance
Taken directly from the set of the NBC/Universal production, Battlestar Galactica, by Propworx staff.
Multi button display panel as seen on the walls throughout the Combat Information Center and corridors on the battlestar Galactica. Panels like these were seen on wall panels close to intercommunications devices. Their function was not noted.
