Secure-Ex brand knife with a black metal handle. The “blade” is a dull, retractable silver aluminum piece. The blade is clean, as this is the knife used before the stabbing. Knife measures 11″ × 2″. Cavil’s pamphlets are three, double-sided, unfolded pages featuring teal ink printed on manila paper. The title page reads: “Do You Know About The Plan? The Lessons Of The Gods Can Help / Private Counseling, Group Prayer / Contact: Brother Cavil.” Each pamphlet measures 8½″ × 11″ (unfolded).
Provenance
Taken directly from the set of the NBC/Universal production, Battlestar Galactica, by Propworx staff.
Hero clean stunt knife used by Fleet Cavil. The Cylon uses a knife to cut an apple atop his book in a pivotal scene with the young boy who often hid in the makeshift chapel on Galactica. The Cylon then uses this stunt knife to fatally stab the child because their friendship had become a “dangerous thing.” Used in the telefilm “The Plan”. Also includes the pamphlets handed out by Fleet Cavil. Cavil used “The Plan” as a means to rendezvous with other Cylon operatives embedded among the Colonial Fleet.
