BSG Props Corridor Phone
Production modified US military digital nonsecure voice terminal (DNVT) ruggedized field telephone. This piece is deliberately and severely weathered to look rusted. Art department decals on the rubber buttons have been rubbed off. All buttons can be pressed and knobs are movable. This piece is not functional. Measures 7¼″ × 10″ × 4¾″.
Provenance
Taken directly from the set of the NBC/Universal production, Battlestar Galactica, by Propworx staff.
Phone from one of Galactica’s many hallways. Used by crew members to communicate information around the ship. Production did not note where in the CIC this phone was located. Phones like this one were mounted on the black portion of the “A-shaped” corridor walls of Galactica.
