BSG Props Colonial Marine Wireless Radio
Production modified Motorola walkie-talkie radio features weathering, rubber speaker grill painted silver, actual walkie-talkie components and machine tool handles as antennas. Batteries not included. Measures 2¾″ × 2½″ × 9½″.
Provenance
Taken directly from the set of the NBC/Universal production, Battlestar Galactica, by Propworx staff.
To coordinate their raid on the Cylon Colony, Colonial marines used wireless radios like this to communicate between other squads and the Galactica. It is unknown which marine used this radio but production noted that it was used in Season Four’s episode “Daybreak.”
