BSG Reporters Recording Device & Media Pass
Standard Galactica Media pass on silver ball chain and small production modified recording device. Measures 1¾″ × 6¾″.

Taken directly from the set of the NBC/Universal production, Battlestar Galactica, by Propworx staff.
Media passes and recording devices like these were used by reporters throughout the series. Reporters would be the eyes and ears for civilians in the fleet. The Production notes state this was used in Season Four’s episode “Sine Qua Non.”

Handheld Digital Recorder
One of possibly two-like props, possibly modified from a tire pressure gauge reader with added faux mic tip to cover valve connector, used by multiple reporters during the series run.
Most prominently seen in Season 2 during press conferences aboard Galactica during the martial law crisis and in the wake of William Adama's shooting, with like devices held by both Sekou Hamilton and Playa Palacios in "Home, Part I." Other reporters have held this type of device as well, suggesting use by multiple persons throughout the series.
Press Badge
Press badges make use of the "A-shaped" door styling of Galactica's compartment hatches, as well as an earlier version of the ears and tails iconography.
