BSG Cylon Baseship Foam Core Model

This is the foam core model made for the sets that were used for the interiors and rooms of the Cylon Baseship, which are first seen in Season Three. This denotes two multi-purpose rooms, the circular room being mainly the command center while the second rectangular room served as a swing set for the hybrid’s chamber, Baltar’s quarters, Danny “Bulldog” Novacek’s cell, Cylon quarters, and the conference room. Foam core models such as this one were used to show producers what the set would look like if built. This was formerly lot 88 from the live auction in January, however it is relisted here as the original live auction bidder backed out. This is a white foam core model produced by the Battlestar Galactica Art Department with construction plans and designed affixed to it. The construction plans are affixed to the top of the base, while the wall pieces feature paper piece from interior designs on the walls and ringed ceiling. Piece held in place on top of paper by multiple pins. Model measures 21″ × 16″ × 8″.
