BSG Stuart Jaffee’s Bloodied BDU Jacket

This is the green battle dress uniform jacket worn by Private Stewart Jaffee when he is shot by rebel marines in the CIC. Previously introduced in Season 3’s “A Day in the Life” as Admiral Adama’s personal marine, Jaffee sacrifices his life in “The Oath” to protect Adama after the rebel marines begin shooting in the CIC. This is a hero, screen-used battle dress uniform jacket worn by actor Michael Leisen in the role of Stewart Jaffee. Deliberately distressed with blood on various areas of the jacket, particularly in the front around the four bullet holes in the chest (two on each side of the jacket). Includes hero “Crewman” diamond-shaped rank pins worn in “The Oath”, which are used to denote his status as a private in the Colonial Marine Corps. Manufacturer’s tag on BDU jacket is unreadable and costume features original squib detonation wire (itself cut at both ends) taped to the inside at the lower back. However, according to the costume tag, the jacket is a size medium-long.
