Battlestar Galactica Sagittaron Soma Braid

This is a soma braid worn by a Sagittaron in Dogsville aboard Galactica in Season 3’s “The Woman King.” Soma braids were used as a health charm that were believed to bring good health. This is a leather bracelet painted silver and black with signs of original brown leather showing through. Piece is tied together with a small ivory plastic bead and a silver Neptune-like plastic symbol at the end. Piece worn by Leila Dove. Measures 2¾″ in diameter.
