BSG Backup of Adama’s Whiskey Bottle

This is a backup of the whiskey bottle Admiral William Adama draws from his sock in Season 4’s “Sometimes a Great Notion.” Adama is seen drinking from the hero version of this small whiskey bottle when over Anastasia Dualla’s corpse in Galactica’s morgue. He attempts to share the drink with his son, Lee Adama, but Lee doesn’t accept it, choosing to grieve in his own way. This is a plastic bottle with production created decal. The decal is shared by the tall Scotch bottles that Saul Tigh drinks from in the course of the series. Prop features deliberate weathering. Measures 7¾″ × 2¾″ × 1¼″.

Provenance

Taken directly from the set of the NBC/Universal production, Battlestar Galactica, by Propworx staff.
