Battlestar Galactica Cylon Basestar Interior Sketch 1

This is a pencil and charcoal pre-production sketch of the interior of the Cylon Base Ship from Season 3’s “Collaborators”. This was the first time we saw the detailed interior of a Cylon base ship, so a lot of sketches were generated to guide the design of these sets. This sketch shows multiple warriors along with several human Cylon models, walking the halls of the Base Ship. This sketch is two pieces of 11″ × 17″ vellum taped together. The bottom piece is a pencil drawing of the hallway, while the top piece is a pencil and charcoal sketch of the details, shading in the walls and drawing the figures.
