Battlestar Galactica Mason Bloodied Jumpsuit

Distressed red prison jumpsuit worn by Brent Stait in the role of “Mason” in Season 1’s “Bastille Day.” An old friend of Tom Zarek, Mason was a prisoner aboard Astral Queen, a prison ship that escaped during the Fall of the Twelve Colonies. Mason, who was incarcerated for at least 20 years (the same length of time as Zarek), participated in Zarek’s attempt at freedom after a water crisis strikes the rag-tag Fleet. However, Mason was unable to control his urges and, in his attempt to rape Specialist Cally Tyrol, had not only his ear bit off by his intended victim, but was shot three times in the chest by Lee Adama. Thus, this is the outfit that Mason died in with blood on the right side and right shoulder, as well as three bullet holes in the chest.A one piece red jumpsuit modified and intentionally distressed by the costume department. The jumpsuit is made by Dickies and, as part of the modifications, features a black patch with cut corners over the left and right breasts, where the flap for the breast pocket is located. On top of the left breast, over the black patch is a dirtied white flash with the prisoner number printed on it.

This jumpsuit features large amounts of fake blood on the right side from the character’s “bit off” ear and blood surrounding three bullet holes in the center of the chest. Two bullet holes are on the left side, one above and one below the black patch, and one on the right between the zipper and the black patch on the right chest.
