There have been many versions of Robert Louis Stevenson's "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde", but perhaps none better than the 1941 version starring Spencer Tracy, as the ultimate "bi-polar" monster, with Ingrid Bergman as the ill-fated Ivy, and Lana Turner as Beatrix, the love of the good doctor. This is Lana Turner's Bustle, worn with her elaborate black dress in the famous extended dance sequence with the charming Dr. Jekyll. It was obtained from the original MGM auction in the early 1970's, and comes with a Letter of Provenience. The Bustle is displayed in a custom made Plexiglass case. (Bustle is approx. 14"x13", display case is 18"x18").
