All Through The Night Signed Lobby Card

The attack on Pearl Harbor changed the course of everything in Hollywood. Suddenly movies had to have a patriotic bend. Even gangsters had to get into the act. A Warner Brothers gangster film, "All Through The Night" (1941) was quickly changed so that New York gamblers discover a plot by Nazi spies to blow up a boat in the harbor and go into action! A great film of that period, starring Humphrey and directed by one of the most prolific and long-lasting directors in Hollywood, Vincent Sherman (who lived to be 100 years old). This is a rare original color Lobby Card from the film, autographed by Vincent Sherman and a very young Phil Silvers who had a small part in the film. Approx 14"x11".
