Photographs: © Premiere Props
Barbara Weston (Julia Roberts who is nominated for an Oscar for her performance) is the oldest sister of three who comes to visit their abusive addicted mother (played by Meryl Streep), after their father kills himself. She becomes both the rock for this dysfunctional family, as well as the fuse. This is one of Roberts' screen worn, hero costumes. It includes a caramel knit two pockets button up the front 'Carlson' cardigan sweater, grey cotton knit with Oklahoma Sooners logo on the front, and a '47' t-shirt. Includes the original production wardrobe tag.
