Sunrise at Campobello Eleanor Roosevelt (Greer Garson)
One of the all time most beloved bio-films of a president is the 1960's classic "Sunrise at Campobello", which chronicled Franklin Roosevelt's trauma of contracting polio at 40 years of age, and how, with the help of his family, especially his loyal and long-suffering wife Eleanor (Greer Garson), he not only coped with it, but ended up being our most loved, and longest termed president. Ralph Bellamy's portray of FDR is legendary, as is Garson's Eleanor (garnering her an Oscar Nomination and a Golden Globe win). This is a dress that was made for her for production.
