"Gone With The Wind" had its world premiere in Atlanta, Georgia on December 15th, 1939, but then made weekly premieres city by city, country by country. In April of 1940, it had its debut in the UK. This is the original program vol.1 #1 along with the original ticket to the Empire Theater on April 18th, 1940, which was such a spectacular event (for wartime England, it was considered the event of the century, and took everyone's minds off the horrors of the war) that it came in a very special envelope. This is an extremely collectable, since it includes both the original reserve seat ticket, the special envelope it came in, and the "Empire And Ritz Weekly News" program. All in perfect condition, having been kept by the original purchaser since 1940.
