Many people believed that since the ancient Inca calendar ends in December 2012 this was their way of telling us that the world ended then. Of course as we came close to that date, this caused something of a panic! Blockbuster filmmaker Roland Emmerich used this concept for his epic disaster extravaganza "2012" (2009). This is one of only 6 known hero Chinese Helicopter Pilot helmets used in the production. Approx. 11"x11"x11".
