Photographs: © Premiere Props
Melanie Stryder goes through hell and back as she tries to save human kind against a gaseous Alien race that enters bodies and erases their memories in "The Host" (2013). In the course of her nightmare journey, she too must fight having her own body invaded! This is Melanie's (Saoirse Ronan) hero screen worn outfit. It is bloody, and shows signs of the harsh world she has endured, and is best seen in the medical center sequence after she cuts her arm. It includes Melanie's bloody sweater and pants and also the original production wardrobe tag.
