The Birdcage Hank Azaria (Agador) Costume

Though Nathan Lane as the flamboyant Albert is the star attraction in the smash comedy hit "The Birdcage" (1996), without a doubt, Hank Azaria, as the completely over-the-top butler Agador truly steals the show. Especially in the hysterical set piece when the ultra conservative in-laws-to-be (Gene Hackman and Dianne Wiest) come for dinner. Agador's one-man fight with his forced-to-wear butler suit (which has a mind of its own!) has some of the best physical comedy in film. This is that hero screen worn outfit! It includes the too-large white long sleeve "butler" coat with 4 pockets on the front, black striped dress pants, black tie, and "Pinpoint Oxford" white button front long sleeve dress shirt with "AGA" written inside the collar. It's one of those rare costumes that is a star in its own right and makes one laugh just looking at it! (Size 15 1/2 , 35).
