Larry Hagman Collection Benes Golden Nest Egg Artwork
Photographs: © Premiere Props
From Larry Hagman's collection, this is an orignal work called "Golden Nest Egg" (1992) by celebrated artist Barton Lidice Benes utilizing one of his favorite mixed media: real shredded money. Loving puns, Benes creates a real "nest egg" with faux-egg, and real shredded US currency as the nest. Approx 11 “x” 12 ½. From the Larry Hagman estate. Professionally appraised at $3,000.
