Up From The Ape Production Drawings
Photographs: © Premiere Props
From the critically acclaimed but ill-fated Wolper 1974 docu-drama "Up From The Ape" (aka: "Primal Man" and "The Ardrey Papers"), these are three original pencil sketches of the "primitive man" for special make up effects. The series used exotic locations and actors to faithfully recreated our primal ancestors. Sadly, many of the cast and crew were killed on a plane flight to one of the locations near the end of shooting. (Drawings are on artist paper approx. 10"x11", and artist tissue sketch paper 14"x17" which has some boarder wrinkling).
